Mastering the Art of Confidence

There will always be high points and low points, especially when working with horses. Some days will be great and give you the confidence to keep going and other days will kick you in the gut knocking you down with the blow. Mastering those times can make you or break you. For me, during the low times I think of the high times. I think that managing your confidence at the high points is also important. When I’m experiencing the high points I never forget what it took to get there. Remembering where you came from and how hard it was to get there will help your confidence. A lot of people think that it’s being good makes you feel better about yourself, but I think it’s the journey that it took to get to the high point is the most important part. Realizing that you have what it takes to get to the top is what makes the high point such a good feeling. Never forget the journey.

With love,
